Join us for our monthly workshop at the Dornsife Center for Neighborhood Partnerships with Writers Room’s Fall Term Teaching Artist Shavon Norris.

Shavon Norris is an artist, educator, and facilitator. She uses movement along with text, sound, and imagery to reveal the stories living in our bodies. Using her autoethnographic approach for storytelling, Shavon will invite participants to explore the timelines of their lives. During the November session, we will reflect on our ideas and desires for the future. We will consider our immediate and distant futures, and create text and movement that acknowledge and honor our tomorrows.
