EXPLORING THE POWER OF LITERATURE TO IMPACT OUR COMMUNITY

Everyone enters UnMapping’s spaces as both students and teachers valued for the unique contributions they bring. 2023-24 Fellows and Courses announced soon.

Writers Room is Drexel's university-community literary arts program. We are a diverse, intergenerational collective of students, alumni, faculty, staff, and neighborhood residents.

Norman Cain has been with us since our first workshop in 2014. For last year’s Anthology release, we surprised him with an 80th birthday celebration. It’s one of the best memories we’ve made, perhaps forever, at Writers Room.

A creative concept for co-living and community

Together with neighborhood and university partners, Writers Room created Second Story Collective, an intergenerational co-housing network of homeowners and student tenants engaged in storytelling and the shared creation of community.

Donations are important to helping Writers Room keep our programming and our home at Ross Commons free and open to all.
